Convention 2014

Since I discovered Stampin’ Up! 7 years ago, I’ve dreamed of going to their convention. The company has an annual convention where they show the latest crafting techniques, supplies and materials, samples, hand-on classes, I can go on and on. A few months ago, my amazing husband told me this is MY year to make my dream a reality. (He also wanted to take a trip of his own this year. I’m so glad he went on his trip to New York. He had an amazing time and I hope he does this again!)

It was hard for me to leave my kiddies (age 6 and 4) but they were FINE. (Tim says they behaved even better then usual. I’m thinking this means I can do this again?!)

The neatest part of the trip was . . . everything! I had a room to myself (no roommate!), swapped cards with so many women, saw amazing presentations, did fun hands-on projects, and best of all, made some great friends.

As soon as I walked into the convention center, I was greeted by this beautiful sign:

I made several different cards as swaps.  The green was my favorite!

There was room FULL of display boards that showed card after beautiful card.  I was overwhelmed and took lots of pictures.  I later got to go on a tour of the home office. It was a beautiful building.
