Hello Dear Friends,
I just realized that I never posted pictures of the Bat Mitzvah I participated in a few weeks ago. First, I’d like to thank my dear friend, Erika, for her help. (Do you notice a trend here? Every time I have a big event, one of my sweet friends volunteers to help. I don’t ask them — they ask ME. I am so thankful for these kind, thoughtful women.)
This Bat Matzvah was for a lovely young lady, Maya. As you may know, I have a daughter named Maya. The first time I heard that name, you guessed it, it was this lovely Bat Mitzvah girl. I have known her Mom for a long time — we grew up in the same neighborhood. She is an awe-inspiring Mom and her Maya reflects this in her good manners and sweet personality. It was a joy to participate at the Bat Mizvah.
Now onto the projects. This was going to be a large Bat Mitzvah. Working with the Mom, we decided to best way to do this was to make a lot of (premade) cut-outs so that the assembly would be uncomplicated. The dad set up a projector for me to show them the projects. Here’s what we did:
The girls all wrote lovely notes in the card and they were sent to a children’s hospital. Isn’t that an appropriate activity for a Bat Mitzvah? The glittery bookmarks were theirs to keep. Here are pictures of them working hard.
It was a lovely event and I had so much with the girls.
