Birthday Card – with the tag punch

My husband’s birthday was last week so I wanted to create a manly card for him using the tag topper scalloped punch.  Creating manly cards is never easy for me, since I love flowers and my favorite color is —- you guessed it, pink!  I love how this card came out.  It is one of my favorite designs of all time.  It is crisp and I love how the tag adds a little extra to the card.  You will laugh, but I liked the card so much, I held onto it for a few days and kept it on my desk to remind me to have an AMAZING day.  I love this stamp set because it is not just for birthdays.  It applies every day.   Hope your day was amazing!

Featured Product – Tag Topper Scalloped Punch

The Tag Topper Scalloped Punch has been at the top of my wish list.  I was so excited to finally receive it a few days ago.  I love it because it’s pretty, but also because it is so versatile.  I’ll be showing you all kinds of projects you make with this punch.  It’s not just for tags!

The first project I made is a gift for my hostesses.  I have a few parties scheduled and I will be putting together a bag of free products for the women having parties.  I thought the punch would make a lovely holder for ribbon!
ribbonNext, I created a card with the punch.  This card is a “Thank You” for a customer order.  I like to thank all my customers 🙂
thanksTo make the card above, I first stamped the Thanks image in Crushed Curry.  I then rolled just the edges of the stamp in Cherry Cobbler to give it a two-tone effect.   When using this technique, always use the lightest color ink, first!  Below are the supplies used for the card. (Note that the stamp set and button are from the soon to be released holiday catalog.)
