Card for Kids

Have I gotten you to try card templates yet????  I did another one today.  This one is the Sweet Sunday Sketch #295.  Here’s my card!

Do you think I followed the sketch?

The thing I love about sketches is that they get me thinking in new ways.  I never would have thought to put a line down the card.  But I really like it!  It adds balance and interest.

I also did something fun.  It’s hard to see in the picture, but the little guy is actually watercolored. I used watercolor paper and an aqua painter to make him.  If a card success is defined by your kids trying to steal it, then I’d say this one turned out okay . . .

Stamp Set: You’re Sublime (139309)
Paper: Watercolor Paper, Cherry On Top (138443), Whisper White, Wild Wasabi
Ink: Lost Lagoon, Garden Green (for the spots), Wild Wasabi (body), Soft Sky (eyes)
Misc: Aqua Painter

Have a wonderful day, friends.
