Celebrating a dozen years

This year marks our 12th wedding anniversary.  I don’t know how it’s possible it’s been a dozen years, but I am thankful for every one of them.  We got married at the end of October when the leaves were changing color.  It was a beautiful day, filled with lots of warmth and laughter.

One of the reasons everyone remembers my wedding because of my father.  In Jewish weddings, people take turns giving the blessings.  One of the blessings has my name in it.  My dad specifically asked for that blessing.  First, he gets to the Podium and in front of everyone, unplugs the microphone.  At this point, the guest who knew him started laughing because they knew he was up to something.  Then he says the blessing in a very loud, jovial voice.  When he gets to my name, I don’t know how he manages it, but he says it so loud that the entire room erupts in laughter.  My name, “Rina,” means the joy your find in music.

I’m so lucky to be married to my honey.  He’s the one who told me to sign up to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and encourages me on this  journey.  His message to me is “If you’re having fun, keep going!”  So that’s what I’m doing.

The card below is embossed in gold.  And it has hearts in gold to celebrate Tim’s love of all things glitter.  🙂
